I gave this cute birthday card to my niece Sarah who turned 28 years old last week. I had a sheet of Jolly Good Deck the Halls patterned paper which coordinated very well with solid green paper I had on hand. I used the solid green for the card “base” and then taped the patterned paper onto the sides and flaps.
I used a Silhouette Cameo to cut out the pieces for the card. The design is the a2 box card: birthday by Lori Whitlock . from the Silhouette Design Store. I have used this design to make several cards. It is easy to put together. I added a simple sentiment on the front flap and wrote my message on the back.
The card folds together easily and fits into a standard 4 1/2 inch by 5 3/4 inch envelope. I tucked a Starbucks gift card into the envelope. Sarah was very excited to get the gift.
