I love rosettes. They seem to go perfectly with Valentine’s Day crafts. The paper called “Adore” by Authentique made very pretty rosettes. As usually happens to me I had a few unexpected problem. I used pink heart brads to fasten the vellum to the first card so that adhesive wouldn’t show through the vellum. But I did this as my final step and the brad backs were visible on the inside of the card. (I covered them up with paper hearts.) Another problem was that as I was heat embossing the vellum bits of the embossing powder clung to the vellum around the stamp. I tried blowing on it and tapping the vellum on the table but I couldn’t get rid of the extra sprinkles. If anyone has a way to get rid of these extra sprinkles I would appreciate hearing about it.
