Mother’s Day card and vinyl sign

Since the vinyl on tile project I did for a wedding gift turned out well I made another sign for my mom for Mother’s Day.  This is on a 12 inch by 12 inch ceramic floor tile I purchased at Home Depot.  The antler monogram cutting file is from the Silhouette Design store.  I cut out the design from glossy black vinyl.  I glued hangers and cork liner on the back.  Mom didn’t seem very enthusiastic about the tile at first but later she sent me a picture of it hanging in the back yard.  I didn’t weatherproof the sign so it will be interesting to see how it holds up outside.   Fortunately my parents live nearby so I can easily re-do the sign if needed.

Mom seemed very excited about this card I made using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.  Mom especially liked the paper colors.  The cutting file is in the Silhouette Design Store.  The design is by Lori Whitlock.  The striped paper is Dena Designs™ Embellish by Dena™ Sheet – Happi Girl.  The floral paper is from Basic Grey.   This is a very happy card and could be used for other occasions with a different sentiment.

Hope you have a lovely day.
