I sent this card to my daughter. I wasn’t sure if she would like it. Fortunately she loved it and even “tweeted” a picture of it.
I used cutting files from the Silhouette Design Store for the unicorn and the sentiment. I used Distress Stains to paint the unicorn. I added some glitter which looked better in real life. The background was embossed with the Darice dots embossing folder.
I used a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine to make this quick thank you card to send to some very nice cousins who hosted my husband and I for several days.
The “Bird and Flowers Thank You Card” cutting file is from the Silhouette Design Store. The sentiment inside – “Time Spent With Family Second-Phrase” is also from the Silhouette Design Store.
The interactive ferris wheel took a while to cut out with a Silhouette Cameo and glue together. If I use this design again I will try using a patterned paper for the cars instead of assembling the small pieces. I used the pirnt and cut feature for the sentiment.
Designs used: Birthday adventures phrase and Ferris Wheel.
I used a Silhouette Cameo to cut out the patterns for this simple card. I really liked this design from the Silhouette Design Store of a girl running with heart balloons. She reminds me of a good friend who likes to run. The heart background is a free digital cut file from Bird’s Cards.
I made this greeting card to send to a few out-of-town relatives to wish them a happy New Year and also to thank them for gifts they sent. I used theSilhouette Cameo print and cut feature for the “celebrate 2015.” I embossed the red background with a Cuttlebug using the Tiny Stars folder from the Paper Studio.
This is my first try at offering a Silhouette Studio file for download. Please let me know if you experience any problems so I can fix it.

I enjoy January because there aren’t too many activities going on and it is a time for new resolutions and projects. I have been writing down inspirational quotes that I like in a journal that was decorated and given to me and my husband by my lovely niece. Below are a few of the quotes.
Happy New Year!
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you.” By Walt Whitman
“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” By Leo Tolstoy
“Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.” By Maya Angelou
